3. Payments is non-refundable. If you decided not run, you may transfer or sell your entry to other participants that includes your shirt size, number, etc. through:
• One-Time Payment through PlanOut online
• Two Split-Payments is accepted to facilitate ease in paying the registration fees. A 50% first payment is required to avail the split-payment.
RACE FORMAT. There shall be 3 categories:
1. Solo Overall and Age Groups. A 75 km single participant category for Overall and Age Groups: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, & 60 and above;
2. Relay 3x25. A 75 km 3-runner relay run cover 25 km each participant. NOTE: The minimum number of entries to continue or undertake the R3x25 is 3 teams (3 runners per team);
3. Relay 25+50. A 75 km 2-runner relay team, 25 km in the first leg and 50 km in the final leg. NOTE: The minimum number of teams is 3 (2 runners per team) to continue or undertake the R25+50.
QUALIFICATION
1. Runners participating must be physically and medically fit to 75km ultramarathon aging 20 years old and above. Must have run a full marathon or run an ultra between October 2023 to September 2024.
2. Well trained U20 and U18 runners interested to run must secure first the approval to register from the Race Director before signing up. Parent’s Consent is must for runners 18 and below.
3. All runners interested to participate must be able to manage the event’s 5km to 10km water refill intervals.
DISTANCE AND ROUTE
1. The 75-kilometer route shall be the Siquijor Circumferential Road using KM 0 as the control point located at Siquijor, Siquijor:
• The distance shall be measured based on the DPWH KM Post established at 1-kilometer intervals per km post. The difference between the measurements of the 75-kilometer using the GPS and the DPWH Km shall be considered as the plus-minus (+\-) of the distance. The difference shall not be less than 75km or over to be officially 75 kilometers ultra-marathon distance
• The route shall START and FINISHES at the historical landmark located at Siquijor, Siquijor, and or to any approved venue that shall not affect the 75km distance;
• The route direction shall be clockwise running through the Municipalities of Larena, E. Villanueva, Maria, Lazi, San Juan, and back to Siquijor for the finish line;
• The Siquijor Circumferential Road is a well-established paved road accessible to runners and their SAG Vehicles, safe from heavy vehicular traffic, and accessible for safety and emergency response assistance.
SUPPORT AND GEAR. Due to the nature of long distance event in this case is 75km, the response time to address emergencies are minimal to nothing. In addressing the safety of runners while on the roads, Siquijor360° allowed the use of support vehicles for the purpose of safety and provisions of essential sustenance, sports beverages, and supplies throughout the 75-km.
DISCLAIMER. It is understood and agreed as stated in the Declaration of Fitness, Waiver & Release Form that the host, co-host, and service providers, the Organizers, the Municipality of Siquijor, all Local Government Units including the barangays the event passes through, the organizations managing the event, and the sponsors shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising because of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the Explore Isla del Fuego: Siquijor360° 75km Ultramarathon and its related activities.
